Margaret Mills is an Illustrator with SPRQ Media.
Mills is a Minnesota-based artist, actress, and writer. Art, in all its forms, has always been an intrinsic part of her life; she began writing and illustrating her own stories as a child, a passion that has only increased with time. She is an avid dancer, having spent a collective twelve years studying ballet and ballroom. Her love of dance segued naturally into a love of acting, be it on stage or in film. She has participated in multiple plays and musical theater productions, as well as a short film with APT Media. Mills also enjoys singing in choir and playing the piano.
When she is not painting or performing, she can be found writing in a café, reading, spending time with her animals, or watching a movie. Her favorite film genre is horror (which may or may not be reflected in many of her artworks!).
Mills studied art under the tutelage of Lake City-based artist and illustrator Jean Sherlock Matheny, and attended the University of Northwestern, where she studied theater. She also attended classes on voice acting and dance at the Guthrie Theater.
